Cookie policy

Last updated November 2, 2026. This policy covers the current website.

Consent management and storage

CookieChimp provides our consent banner and preference controls. It loads before optional analytics and uses cookiechimp_pref_GPet8mW to remember your choices for 180 days, and cookiechimp_uuid to associate consent records with a browser (up to approximately 181 days in the current configuration). CookieChimp receives technical request information and records consent choices, timestamps, browser identifiers and site context to maintain consent records. These are necessary consent-management functions, separate from optional analytics. Our earlier dmzops.cookie-consent.v1 localStorage preference is retired and removed; it does not grant consent under the new banner. See CookieChimp's privacy policy.

Private account storage

When you use an existing account, Supabase stores the account session in browser localStorage and a temporary PKCE verifier to complete email-link login. These necessary authentication items can include tokens and account information; they are not marketing cookies. Sign out on shared devices. Private login/admin/member pages do not load Google Analytics or CookieChimp. Their Cookie settings link opens the public cookie-policy page.

Optional analytics

Accepting analytics allows Google Analytics 4 and its cookies, typically _ga and _ga_*, to measure visits. Our tag limits cookie lifetime to 180 days without automatic renewal. Google Analytics requests are blocked before acceptance and after rejection. Advertising consent stays denied, and Google signals and ad-personalisation features are disabled in the site tag.

Necessary infrastructure

Hosting or network protection may use strictly necessary security mechanisms when responding to abusive traffic or an access challenge. These are distinct from optional advertising or analytics. Technical request logs, which can include IP addresses, are explained in the privacy notice; not all server processing uses cookies.

Your cookie choices

Select Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics or withdraw an earlier choice. When analytics is configured, the CookieChimp banner provides the available consent choices. Analytics requires a saved choice accepting the optional Analytics category; if that category is not configured, analytics stays off. We honour Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track by keeping analytics off. Rejecting removes the accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site and stops analytics on subsequent page loads. Clearing browser storage or changing browsers/devices may require a new choice. No optional consent is assumed merely because you continue browsing.

Before the full site launches

If we introduce optional analytics, marketing tags or third-party embeds, we will update this policy and provide controls before activating technologies that require consent. Optional choices will not be preselected; rejecting them will be available alongside accepting them, and settings will allow withdrawal. Account-session storage and other necessary features will be identified separately. Future features are not enabled by this notice.
