Anti-Spam Policy
Last updated November 2, 2026. This policy applies to communications sent by or on behalf of DMZ OPS and promotion of DMZOPS.COM. The current website has no public signup, marketing list or notification service.
No unsolicited promotion
Do not promote DMZ OPS through unsolicited bulk email, private messages, social comments, Discord or Telegram messages, push notifications or repeated unwanted contact. Purchased, rented, scraped or harvested contact lists, deceptive sender identities and automated promotional posting without permission are prohibited.
Permission and honest messages
If marketing becomes available, we will require a clear, separate opt-in for the stated purpose. Browsing, accepting analytics, contacting support or creating an account will not by itself subscribe you. Marketing must identify the sender accurately, use truthful subject lines, identify promotional content as required, and include a valid business postal address and a clear way to unsubscribe. We will not treat a consent checkbox as permission for unrelated advertisers.
Unsubscribe and preferences
Future marketing emails must include a working, free unsubscribe method without requiring login. You may also email Contact form to stop marketing. We will act promptly and no later than 10 business days, or sooner where applicable law requires. Email opt-out methods must remain available for at least 30 days after a message is sent. We may retain the minimum suppression information necessary to avoid contacting you again; it must not be reused as a marketing list.
Requested and service messages
A reply to your enquiry or a genuinely necessary security or account message is different from marketing. Future authentication links and requested service alerts will be limited to their purpose. A promotional message does not become a service message simply because it is sent to a member or combined with an account notice. Marketing opt-out does not prevent legally necessary or requested service communications.
Partners, sponsors and users
Anyone promoting DMZ OPS, including a sponsor, contractor, affiliate or community member, must follow this policy and applicable law. We do not authorise spam on our behalf. We may investigate complaints, require a campaign to stop, restrict access or end a relationship where appropriate. Using another sender does not remove our responsibility for messages we commission.
Report suspected spam
Use the Contact form with the sender, date, subject, relevant URL and, if available, full email headers or a screenshot. Redact unrelated personal information and never forward passwords or authentication links. Do not click suspicious links to investigate. We will review available evidence and take appropriate action; mentioning DMZ OPS does not by itself prove that we sent or authorised a message.
See our Privacy Policy for handling of reports and correspondence, and our Terms of Service for acceptable use.
